I currently work for Nava, where I project manage agile teams that help improve how government serves people. For five years before that, I worked for CivicActions, doing similar work. Before that, I worked for Idealist.org.
Before that, I managed IT services for complex and challenging nonprofits, and left each better off.Throughout my career, I've always gravitated towards helping people.
Music and art!
In my lifetime of creating music, I've led the psych-rock band Teleporter, played drums for From Clouds, created several albums of dream music, made an album of instrument-less instrumental music, produced several albums of sci-fi hip hop, recorded and produced other artists and projects, composed music for high-profile commercials... and imitated Elvis for a radio advertisement, led a gloomy and exuberant folk & country band and a quirky experimental rock band, and much, much more. I also make very strange collage art.
